The Richer: As an artist producing multiple electronic genres such as techno, hard techno, trance, and psytrance, I always strive to create something unique and different from what's out there.
We are happy to welcome our today's guest, The Richer!

Drawing from his rich cultural influences and emotional depth, The Richer infuses his music with transcendental sounds inspired by The Supreme Lord Krishna and the Vedas.

We talked to the young talent about his new release "Fauda" which has been our recenrtly on our home label Rave Me Hard and other projects. Enjoy!

RMH:
How did your cultural influences and spiritual beliefs shape the creation of "Fauda," your latest hard techno release?

THE RICHER:
So, I really like binge-watching middle eastern thriller shows. And, the israeli series ‘Fauda’ meaning chaos gave me the idea of creating a Middle Eastern Hard techno track.
I wanted to represent the sound of middle east along with a massy and heroic feel while raving.
The main drop is sure to make anyone rave and dance along with giving a sense of pleasure, feeling stylish and massy.
RMH:
Could you elaborate on how The Supreme Lord Krishna and the Vedas inspire the transcendental sounds present in your music?
THE RICHER:
Belonging to India, the land of dharma I've been engaged in practicing spirituality. The vedic mantras are often heard on electronic music events and electronic music fans always go crazy hearing them.
Actually, the sound and words of vedic mantras are full of energy and power. They are soma. Thus, I love to represent them in my tracks. You are sure to hear these mantras in my upcoming releases and they're gonna be really special and unique.
RMH:
What specific elements of "Fauda" do you feel best reflect your emotional depth as an artist?
THE RICHER:
As an artist producing multiple electronic genres like techno, hard techno, trance, psy. I always like to create something unique and different from what's out there. I always add try to add my own style, rather than just following the genre.
Similarly, in Fauda I added a middle eastern vibe along with raving vocal ‘I wanna dance’ making a hard techno banger which makes it unique.
I really love the main drop of the track with the lyrics ‘I wanna dance’.
RMH:
Can you share any details about your upcoming DJ sets or performances, and what unique experiences or surprises can fans expect during these shows?

THE RICHER:
Being just 18, I have not started to play yet. But you are sure to see me playing really catchy, groovy and unique sounds on the stage really soon.
RMH:
Within the electronic music scene, what genres or sub-genres are you currently exploring or finding inspiration from, and how do they influence your creative process?

THE RICHER:
I am currently exploring techno, hard techno, Psytrance, trance and emerging neorave or psytechno style. They all influence me greatly, as now artists are free to mix different kind of styles in one track. I mainly find inspiration from techno as I take inspiration from Charlotte de Witte.
RMH:
If you could teleport to any place in the world right now, where would you go and what would you do there?
THE RICHER:
I would like to teleport to Berlin as I really like it's beauty, especially the german castle’s. I would play a dj set there, live streaming from the top of castle, in cold-waves.
