We can't wait to listen to your EP “Shine” on Purified Records! Can you give us a sneak peek of what to expect and what inspired you to create it?
TH;EN

Thank you very much, I am very excited about my EP "Shine" on Purified Records. The EP contains three tracks, all sharing a common interface of melodic techno with a deep and emotional feel. I think listeners can expect a blend of hypnotic beats, melodic hooks, and powerful synthesizers from the EP. The inspiration for the EP came from my personal experiences and emotions I've been going through lately.
RMH:
Can you tell us about your musical background and how you got started as a producer?
TH;EN

My youth was in the 90s, when everything was very trancy and the beginning of techno. I started buying records relatively young at 16 and later playing them at parties. Since then, it was clear to me that I wanted to experiment with my own music. I was attracted to the creative possibilities of electronic music and found it perfect for expressing my musical ideas.
RMH:
As a producer, what do you think are the key elements to creating a successful track?
TH;EN

I think the key elements for creating a successful track are a strong melody, a powerful rhythmic foundation, a clean mix, and a good mastering process. It's also important that the track has some emotional impact and takes the audience on a journey.
RMH:
What's the craziest thing that's ever happened to you at a live performance or festival?
TH;EN

One of the craziest things that happened to me during a gig was actually a raid. When the police left the location and the lights went out, the party crew continued to celebrate so intensely that it was a unique experience for me.
RMH:
Can you tell us about a time when you had to improvise on stage and how you handled it?
TH;EN

Once there was a situation a few years ago where I had to play as a Melodic Techno artist after a 145 BPM Hard Techno DJ who was also very popular with the audience. As expected, when I took over, the dance floor was suddenly empty. Luckily, after half an hour, I was able to change that by getting the Hard Techno crew into my music and it turned into a really awesome night with a great atmosphere.
RMH:
If you could travel back in time and attend any iconic concert or festival, which one would you choose and why?
TH;EN

If I could go back in time, I would like to attend the Woodstock Festival of 1969. It was a milestone in the history of music and I think it would be incredible to experience live performances by iconic artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and The Who.
RMH:
We want to get to know you better, so can you tell us about a guilty pleasure song that you secretly love?
TH;EN

"Girl You Know It's True" by Milli Vanilli is my "guilty pleasure" song. Although the group later became involved in a scandal, it doesn't change the fact that the song is a catchy and characteristic hit of the late 80s.
RMH:
Thank you so much for chatting with us! Is there anything else upcoming you’d like to share?
TH;EN

Thank you for the conversation. I am currently working on some new tracks and have also planned some gigs in clubs and festivals. I'm looking forward to sharing my music with you.
