The Ger-Man: In general I hope that House Music gets more recognition and attention in Germany, it deserves way more in my opinion

Today, we are happy to welcome a gifted DJ and producer, The Ger-Man.

The Ger-Man got in touch with his parents’ vinyls already at an early age which had a big influence on his current musical mindset and production style. On his mission to release ear melting tunes from housy club bangers to more deeper vibes there is always a guarantee to find elements from various music genres such as Hip Hop, Funk and Disco.

We talked to the talent about the remix on his track "Give It Up" by Sebb Junior and other projects. Enjoy! pGiveGive It Up It Up

RMH:
Hi and welcome to Rave Me Hard! How did you first discover your passion for creating house music, and what inspired you to pursue a career in the electronic music scene?
THE
GER-MAN:
Hi, thanks for having me.
Before I created and produced it I just was a fan of House Music and Electronic Music in general, visited lots of festivals and gigs. I liked the people the spirit the scene and House Music stood out the most for me.
Then I started DJing and of course after a certain time you develop own ideas for tracks so the next step was producing.
RMH:
Your original mix of 'Give It Up' has been described as an authentic four-to-the-floor house cut. Can you share more about the creative process behind the track and the specific elements that contribute to its summertime flavors and feel-good energy?
THE
GER-MAN:
Sure. Actually it started with the piano riff not any drums like you would expect.
I just played around with and found a nice groove. For me the Cowbells and String Hits in the main part make it special and create great energy.
RMH:
What was your initial reaction when you learned that Sebb Junior would be remixing your track for Déepalma Soul? How do you feel his remix adds a new dimension to the original?
THE
GER-MAN:
I just was super happy, I love his unique Sound, I'm just a big fan so it's a great honor.
It definetly is a well arranged Remix not only changing a few sounds like you sometimes see in the industry. You can hear that he really put thoughts and work in lt.
I love the bumpy bassline !
RMH:
As a producer, how do you strike a balance between staying true to your artistic vision and catering to the desires of dancefloors?
THE
GER-MAN:
I mean House Music is 4x4 anyway right? so you always can dance to it if the Groove is good.
I don't set me any limitations like: is this good enough for the dancefloor, when I produce. Just go with the flow.
RMH:
With Déepalma Records celebrating its tenth anniversary, can you share your experience of working with the label and how it has contributed to your growth and recognition as an artist?
THE
GER-MAN:
It's my homebase, it all started here for me so im super thankful for all the effort they put in my music and me as an artist.
The care and how they handle business is super professional. I love to work with them, it's fun!
RMH:
Looking ahead, what are your aspirations and goals for the future of your music career? Are there any particular collaborations or projects you are excited about and would like to share with us?
THE
GER-MAN:
In general I hope that House Music gets more recognition and attention in Germany, it deserves way more in my opinion.
For me personal of course I would love to play in Ibiza, UK just to get in touch with the scene.
I have loads of upcoming collabs and Projects, little confidential here, so just stay tuned and stay housy.
RMH:
And to wrap it up, we like to ask random questions. If you could have any animal as your personal assistant, which animal would you choose and why?
THE
GER-MAN:
Obviously the racoon. I mean it has glasses which means it's intelligent and therefore a super assistant to coordinate my stuff.
