Slive: I want to inspire new generation of ravers to live more in the present moment
Welcome to our interview with Slive, an up-and-coming DJ and producer who is quickly making a name for himself in the electronic music scene.

With a unique sound that blends elements of melodic techno, house, techno and ambient music, Slive has been captivating audiences with his dynamic live sets and hypnotic tracks.

Hi Slive! We are happy to be chatting with you today! How are you doing?
Slive
Hello Olly, I'm great thanks, I had amazing warm winter in Bali and soon I will be back to Barcelona.
RMH:
Can you tell us a little bit about your latest release “Nocturnal Animal” together with Kusok, and what inspired you to create it?
Slive

Yeah, Kusok inspired me to make this techno EP with her and we had the vibe in the studio, was awesome to create our tracks together.
RMH:
Can you walk us through the different elements and sounds used in "Why Do I Rave" the track, and why you chose them specifically?
Slive
I really love the vocals of the track, they are very natural and giving the vibe to the track. We make analog synth sound for this track that evolve during the track.
RMH:
How do you feel your time in Bali has influenced your music production, if at all?
Slive
Yes sure, it had an influence on me. I finally started to make music that I always wanted and that came to me from the universe. Half of tracks from my upcoming album is around 90 bpm in different genres.
RMH:
Do you have any specific goals for the summer 2023? Are there any particular audiences or listeners you're hoping to reach?
Slive

I just want finish my album how I hear it. I want to inspire new generation of ravers to live more in the present moment and enjoy every second of their lives.
RMH:
How has your sound evolved over time?
Slive
I feel that my sound step by step evolving and returning to my inner sound of vibing.
Now I have an experience of making and finishing songs. I finally can make that I have in my mind and heart.
RMH:
Since you are from Barcelona, how do you see the electronic music scene evolving there?
Slive
Now Techno become more mainstream in Barcelona and around the world. The scene is growing more and more.
RMH:
What can we expect to see from you in the near future? Any upcoming shows, releases, or collaborations we should be on the lookout for?
Slive
I'm focusing now on finishing my album, and try to released it in next year. I have a lot of collaboration with this album in different and experimental genres.
