Reblok: In a musical way, my background in psytrance, along with my experience in 7-8 other genres, has shaped who I am today.

and more. His tracks consistently break into the top 100 Beatport charts, further
solidifying his status in the global electronic music scene.

We talked to the electronic music gem about his new release "SuperNaughty" on Bazar Sauvage and other projects. Find out more below!

RMH:
As an experienced producer and DJ hailing from The Balkans, could you share with us how your journey into electronic music began and how your experiences have shaped your career up to this point?

REBLOK:
Well it all started in 2006 when I started going on Psy Trance raves in my country and thats where my love for raves formed. Around 2008 I released my first ever EP under Human Transmutation Circle alias and it was dark psy trance and then as Versi as well prog psy trance. Around 2010 I created alias Reblok and started releasing minimal techno. Since then I went threw more than 8-9 genres and now I'm in a point of career where the full circle is finished and I'm back to my roots which are Psy & Techno sound.
RMH:
"SuperNaughty" is about to be released on Bazar Sauvage. Can you tell us about the creative process behind this collaboration with Kusok?
REBLOK:
Well I found one really nice vocal loop from one weird sample pack that was insanelly catchy and thought to give it a try and create a whole track around it which worked really well, and then I forwarded the stems to Kusok to add her own flavour to it, which she did really well.
RMH:
Your music has been recognized globally, with tracks consistently breaking into the top 100 Beatport charts and supported by big names. How do you stay inspired and keep your sound fresh in the dynamic electronic music scene?
REBLOK:
My sound would be even more interesting and wild if I had a good platform where to push my sound. Because labels have their own sound and if you try to push your own it won't really fit, any labels with strict sound policy which most of the big labels have, so then it's a problem and in a way hard for the artist.
RMH:
As a DJ who has performed globally, how do you approach preparing for a set compared to working on a studio production?
REBLOK:
I always find this question funny because I never prepare anything.I literally don't even know which track I will play first on a gig until the moment I plug in my usb. Where as in studio I always prepare lots of stuff as sample packs and the whole plan which style I'll make next.
RMH:
What do you think sets your music apart from other artists in the hard techno genre?
REBLOK:
My psytrance background and 7-8 other genres i went threw. That shaped me today into who I am in a musical way.
RMH:
If you had to choose between performing in zero gravity or underwater, which would you pick and why?
REBLOK:
Underwater cuz I was always amazed by what's underneath.
RMH:
Beyond "SuperNaughty," what other goals or milestones do you hope to achieve in your career over the next year?
REBLOK:
To be honest I don't even know what will happen tomorrow and not longterm haha you cant' plan anything in this industry.
