niche for herself in the electronic music landscape.

RMH:
Hello and welcome to Rave Me Hard Mag! Nice to be chatting with you. Let’s start :) What inspired the creation of your upcoming release "Obsidian" on the Rave Me Hard label? Is there any story behind the track that you'd like to share with your fans?
KØDAK:
First of all, thank you very much for the invitation. It's always a pleasure to collaborate and chat, contributing my grain of sand to this label and being part of this great industry.

To be honest, I don't usually think too much about what I'm going to produce next. I usually get inspired when I start working on a track, and from there, I let all my emotions and feelings flow until I find a groove and rhythm that fits my style and vision.

Although it's true that "Obsidian" ended up bringing out my most acidic and introspective side, creating a rhythm designed for the strictest and darkest dancefloors, entirely focused on clubs.
RMH:
As a DJ and producer, how would you describe the sound that listeners can expect from "Obsidian"? Are there any specific elements that set this track apart from your previous works?

KØDAK:
"Obsidian" is undoubtedly a completely different work from previous releases that I've put out.

Its sound is focused on an acid line combined with peak time/drive techno, playing with a high rhythm and a strong percussive base from start to finish, creating an introspective synergy of ups and downs with constant rhythm changes.
RMH:
Rave Me Hard is known for promoting cutting-edge electronic music. How do you feel "Obsidian" fits into the label's identity, and what makes it stand out among other productions in the current scene?
KØDAK:
"Obsidian" is one of the spiciest parts that represent me when it comes to producing at a high and acidic rhythm with a deep and forceful kick, continuously playing with the bass lines and rhythm boxes.
I think it's a sound that has been forgotten with this new wave of artists and productions that we have been encountering lately in clubs and festivals, and it can bring a touch of fresh air and relief to the current scene.

RMH:
As the owner of "Opposite Label," could you delve into the inspiration behind its inception and the overarching vision you have set for it?
KØDAK:
I started Opposite in 2019 with my right-hand man, Piga, who later joined our project and family, Nhymph, without whom none of this would be possible.
We've always wanted to create a community of artists with a very clear vision focused on techno, representing everything from the purest style to the most futuristic sound, innovating and evolving based on the new eras and movements we've been delving into, but always following a very underground line in our releases and simultaneously creating intimate and quality spaces at each of our events.

RMH:
As an artist constantly evolving, what's one aspect of your music or style that you're currently experimenting with or excited to explore further?

KØDAK:
I really like to experiment and not define my style with a particular sound.
I always try to innovate and bring out something different from before, opening up a very broad range of possibilities focused on techno, with which I feel very comfortable. Always giving that spicy touch to my productions with high BPMs.
RMH:
Collaborations play a significant role in the music industry. Who are some artists or producers you dream of collaborating with in the future, and what do you hope to achieve creatively through these partnerships?

KØDAK:
I love the work that Blawan develops, creating a futuristic and abstract sound in all his productions, and you can always be surprised by what new he's going to release, completely different from his live sets, which represent a lot my vision of techno and the energy it gives off in each of them.
RMH:
Finally, we like to ask a random question. So here we go - If your DJ name were a dish on a menu, what would it be called, and what ingredients would it consist of?

KØDAK:
Without a doubt, it would be called "Tonkotsu Spicy" since I am passionate about spicy Japanese food, and it would consist of a turbid and boiling broth with a strong flavor of pork bones with different vegetables and noodles.
