In this interview with Rave Me Hard, she shares insights into her journey, the inspiration behind her multidimensional label Fifth Dimension, and the challenges she has faced in bringing her vision to life.
RMH:
Hello KIKI FEEL, welcome to Rave Me Hard! To begin, could you share more about your background and how your upbringing influenced your decision to pursue a career in music?
KIKI FEEL:
I come from a family of musicians, so music has always been a part of my life. Growing up in that environment naturally shaped my passion and deep connection to sound. I’ve always lived for music it’s not just something I do, it’s who I am. Through music, I feel truly free to express my inner world, my emotions, and my vision. It allows me to communicate beyond words and connect with people on a deeper level. Pursuing a career in music was never a choice; it was my destiny.
RMH:
Fifth Dimension is more than just a label, it’s a fusion of music, visuals, and storytelling. What inspired you to create it, and what message do you hope to convey through this label?
KIKI FEEL:
I was inspired by the idea of creating a reality that goes beyond the physical world one where music, visuals, and storytelling merge to transport people into a different dimension, free from the limitations of the material world. My vision for Fifth Dimension is to offer an immersive experience that allows people to escape, dream, and connect with a higher state of consciousness. Through this label, I want to share a powerful motivational message: that we are not defined by our circumstances, and through creativity, energy, and self-belief, we can elevate ourselves to new heights. Fifth Dimension is about breaking boundaries, embracing transformation, and inspiring people to manifest their dreams. It’s a symbol of limitless possibilities and a reminder that we have the power to create our own reality.
RMH:
What challenges did you face in launching your own label, and how did you overcome them?
KIKI FEEL:
Even today, we are still overcoming one of the darkest periods in human history, the post-pandemic era. The music industry has faced immense challenges, from struggling clubs to an overall sense of confusion and uncertainty. This has made it much more difficult for artists to establish themselves in a market that is still shaken by the past few years. Launching my own label in such a turbulent time was not easy, but I saw it as an opportunity to bring fresh energy, creativity, and resilience into the scene. By staying true to my vision and adapting to the evolving landscape, I’ve been able to navigate these challenges and push forward with determination.
RMH:
‘The Secret’ is the first release on Fifth Dimension. How does this EP reflect the style and vision of your label?
KIKI FEEL:
"The Secret" perfectly reflects the vision I want to bring to people through Fifth Dimension. This EP is deeply connected to the concepts of the law of attraction, manifestation, and the power of the mind. The name itself is inspired by Rhonda Byrne’s book, which has had a profound impact on my journey. Musically, I wanted to present a fresh and unique take on hard techno, blending it with psy influences and emotional elements. My goal is to create an immersive experience that not only makes people dance but also inspires them to believe in their own power to shape their reality.
RMH:
You have a deep passion for vintage synths and modular synthesis. How did you first get into working with them, and how have they shaped your sound as an artist?
KIKI FEEL:
To this day, my passion for analogue and modular synthesis remains a key focus. Obviously when it comes to instruments and techniques they are very much linked to a musical genre and its sounds. Over the years Techno music, and especially the culture of Berlin Techno (Modular Sequencers used in the production) remains for me a pillar of my education and passion, and to this culture I must also add that of PSY Trance in which many Synths that I like so much play a key role. In my production today, when I can insert an ‘arpeggiator’ with particular sonic characteristics, I certainly refer to the use of a sequencer and modular oscillators, while when creating Warm Pad or Drone the use of Synths comes as spontaneously as the use of a Waldorf or a Soma Lab Lyra 8 .....
RMH:
If your life had a theme song that played every time you entered a room, what song would it be?
KIKI FEEL:
Definitely “Right Here, Right Now” by Fatboy Slim. This track perfectly embodies the motivational message that drives me, it reminds me to take action, live in the present, and not postpone my goals. It gives me a huge boost of courage and energy, pushing me to keep moving forward. I’ve always loved this track, not just for its powerful sound but for the mindset it represents.
RMH:
What’s next for you after Fifth Dimension's launch? Are there any exciting upcoming projects, collaborations, or new directions you’re exploring that we should be looking out for?
KIKI FEEL:
There are so many exciting things in the works, but unfortunately, I can’t reveal too much just yet! Let’s just say that this is only the beginning, and what’s coming next will take everything.
to a whole new level. Expect unexpected collaborations, fresh sounds, and experiences that will push the boundaries of music and storytelling. Stay tuned! Big things are on the horizon!
