RMH:
Congratulations on making it into the DJ Mag Top 100! How does it feel to be recognized among the world’s top DJs, and what do you think helped you reach this milestone?
B JONES:
Thank you so much! It feels incredible to be recognized among the world’s top DJs. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without my amazing fans – their support and inspiration have been everything to me. They keep me motivated to push boundaries and stay true to my music. I believe that connecting with them and sharing genuine experiences through my performances has helped me reach this milestone. This recognition is truly theirs as much as it is mine, and I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of them!
RMH:
Your new single ‘Chasing Cars’ is a fresh take on a classic. What drew you to this track, and how did you approach reimagining it for EDM and Trance fans?
B JONES:
Thank you! Chasing Cars has always been one of my favorite tracks, and it’s amazing to bring new life to a song that meant so much to me over 15 years ago. I wanted to stay true to the original essence that made it so powerful while adding a fresh twist for today’s EDM and Trance fans. Reimagining it was a joy—I focused on blending new energy and styles with the classic emotional depth, so fans of both the original and modern dance music could connect with it. I hope listeners feel that same timeless vibe, with a new pulse that keeps it exciting!
RMH:
You’ve played major festivals like Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza Berlin. How have these experiences shaped you as an artist?
B JONES:
Playing at major festivals like Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza Berlin has been an incredible opportunity. These experiences have allowed me to connect with so many new fans and share my music on a massive scale. Each festival has also been a learning experience, where I’ve had the chance to see other amazing artists perform, inspiring me to keep growing and evolving. These moments have truly shaped me as an artist and pushed me to reach new heights.
RMH:
As head of ARRYBA Music, what’s your vision for the label, and how do you see it growing within the electronic music scene?
B JONES:
Launching ARRYBA Music has been an incredible adventure and a huge learning experience. My vision for the label is to create a platform that not only showcases my own work but also supports other talented artists in the electronic music scene. The industry is thriving, but with so much new music coming out daily, competition is intense. With ARRYBA Music, I’m excited to help emerging artists find their place and bring fresh sounds to fans worldwide.
RMH:
How does it feel to have your music released on major labels like Spinnin', Universal, Tomorrowland Music, and Sony? Has this exposure influenced your approach to producing music?
B JONES:
It’s incredibly gratifying to have my music released on major labels like Spinnin’, Universal, Tomorrowland Music, and Sony. Having the support of such influential names is both an honor and a huge motivator. In particular, Tomorrowland Music has been a major influence on my career, inspiring me to keep raising the bar with each track. This exposure has definitely impacted my approach to producing, pushing me to create music that resonates on a global scale while staying true to my own style.
RMH:
If you could only play one song on repeat for 24 hours, which one would you choose (and would you still love it afterward)?
B JONES:
I’d choose Chasing Cars. As I mentioned before, it’s a track that holds a lot of meaning for me. I connect with it on such a deep level that I’m sure I’d still love it even after 24 hours straight—it’s timeless!
RMH:
If you could capture the essence of your most unforgettable crowd moment in a fragrance, what would you name that "Perfume" and what would it smell like?
B JONES:
I would name it Tomorrowland’s Elixir of Life. It would have the scent of lush herbs and delicate flowers, capturing the vibrant and magical energy of an unforgettable crowd. But I have to tell you—this fragrance already exists! hahhaha and I absolutely love wearing it; it brings me right back to those incredible moments every time.
RMH:
What’s next for you? Are there any new projects or goals you’re looking forward to in the coming months?
B JONES:
It’s been an incredibly intense year of touring, and while that’s still ongoing, my main focus now is on creating new music for next year. I’m also dedicating a lot of time to developing my label, ARRYBA Music, and I’m excited about what’s coming. Before the year ends, I have a very special release lined up with Tomorrowland, Dim Mak, and the amazing Steve Aoki, which I can’t wait to share with everyone. There’s so much to look forward to, and I’m ready to keep pushing boundaries!
