'To Be Real' opens with the instantly recognizable horn riff from the original track, paving the way for a relentless and energetic three-and-a-half-minute journey. Wuki and Foss skillfully blend frenetic percussion, rolling basslines, and impeccable production values, taking Cheryl Lynn's chopped up vocals to a thrilling new dimension.
Wuki expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating:
"I've been sampling and flipping a lot of disco records lately, and 'To Be Real' has to be one of my favorite disco tracks of all time. I heard it one day and realized how perfect those horns would be for a pre-drop, so I whipped up an initial idea and asked my boy Lee Foss to jump on and bring it over the finish line. I am super honored to get this out with Cheryl's vocals and have her be a part of the track as well."

Inspired by the house and disco scene of Chicago in the '90s, Foss's musical journey was forever altered after a transformative trip to Ibiza in 2001, where he met his best friend and collaborator Jamie Jones.
